DUCTAPE COMEDY SOUND RIDER Sound setup for Ductape Comedy is very simple; all that is required is enough amplification for two guys who will be moving around the stage, doing stunts, and yelling from time to time! It is essential to have sound set up that will allow them freedom of movement onstage. There are two main ways to accomplish this: 1) Microphones set up on boom stands on either side of the stage to capture sound. Ductape won't speak directly into the mics--these should be able to amplify an area of sound. SM58s, Beta 87s, choir mics, or similar kinds of microphones should work fine for this. 2) Lapel microphones. Please remember that these should be sturdy enough to survive physical comedy--falls, jumping, wrestling, etc. No monitors are necessary, just enough power for the audience to hear adequately. That's it! www.ductapecomedy.com
